Internet Law & Transactions

A key component of the Firm’s Internet law practice is to assist clients with preparing and maintaining the terms and conditions that govern end users’ rights, and limitations, on their websites.  The Firm understands that a client’s business on the Internet could mean the difference between success and failure.  As such, the Firm seeks to understand a client’s business in depth, so as to better structure the terms of use or service, and privacy collection and sharing policies, that govern a client’s website.

E-commerce transactions, on a client’s website, third party website, or software, drive business matters on the Internet.  These transactions include traditional “shopping cart” e-commerce, but also include highly complex revenue sharing arrangements involving advertising and distribution  revenue.  With its representation of clients in transactions involving Yahoo!, Google, IAC and Infospace, the Firm understands revenue generation on the Internet.
